Dr. Lund obtained the Bachelor of Science degree at the State University of New York, Stony Brook; and the Doctor of Medicine degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (Mexico). He completed internship and residency in psychiatry at the St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital (New York, New York), during which time he served in the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Lund completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at the Sleep Disorders Institute in Manhattan, where he went on to hold the positions of Attending Physician, Associate Director, and Co-Medical Director; and where he currently is the Director of the Institute. Dr. Lund is board certified in psychiatry and sleep medicine.

Dr. Lund has participated as an investigator or sub-investigator in a number of clinical trials, and has published in the areas of sleep medicine, depression, and delirium.
